A New 5,500 Sq. Ft. Home in Medina, Washington. The Client requested an open, modern, home that had a direct connection to the outside. The design centers around a large kitchen, where the clients like to spend a majority of their time. The boundary between interior and exterior is blurred by a series of folding glass partitions; allowing the client to take advantage of the exterior living space and glass edged pool. The interlocking masses of the house are wrapped in a warm cedar that is juxtaposed with concrete and blackened steel panels.
