Saint Francis of Assisi Library Addition

Through a generous gift, the St. Francis of Assisi School was able to create a library and computer lab that is a center for curriculum resources, a gathering place for the school community, and an after school ‘retreat’ for children with limited study opportunities at home. The second-floor addition is built on structural points below, and introduces balanced daylight through a large roof opening. The library is laid out to identify resources for younger and older age groups, and is programmed to allow for classroom instruction, media presentations, storytelling, and school council meetings.
