Miller Hayashi participated in Food Lifeline’s “Food Frenzy” for the first time this year where we welcomed the opportunity to show off our baking, bowling, and volunteering skills to raise money for a great cause, fighting hunger.
The new YMCA in Kent, Washington opened its doors to the public on September 14th, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and plenty of fanfare. Miller Hayashi’s design team were there to support and tour the recently completed 50,000 square foot facility, complete with lap and activity pools, gymnasium, fitness studios, and community gathering spaces.
“How does urban planning and architecture influence the shape of a city?” That was the big question students explored in the Seattle Architecture Foundation’s most recent After School Programs at Mercer International Middle School and Hamilton Middle School.
